Surfaces must be sound, clean and free from loose materials, chemical products, oil and grease. Prepare joints mechanically and use masking tape for neat work
Priming
For porous or very dry substrates, dilute Builda Joint 8000 GA with water at 1:3 and apply a thin coat as primer. Allow to become tack-free
Joint Backing
Use appropriate backing rod where applicable. For wide joints, joint depth should be half the joint width; for joints under 10 mm, depth equals width
Application
Apply with caulking gun, putty knife or spatula. Press sealant firmly into the joint to avoid gaps and tool before skin forms
