Technical Data

Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be free from oil, grease, wax, dirt and contaminants. Remove laitance and repair spalled concrete with Builda Rep S52

Crack Treatment

Cracks less than 0.3 mm can be bridged with Proof Lastic strip; wider cracks should be opened and repaired with suitable repair products

Priming

Priming is generally not required on good concrete. Pre-soak cementitious surfaces to saturated surface dry condition before application

Mixing

Pour liquid component into pail and gradually add powder while mixing with spiral paddle for 3-4 minutes at 300-400 rpm

Application

Apply coating by brush, spray or trowel in accordance with technical data sheet recommendations

  • Internal waterproofing on old and new surfaces
  • Waterproofing potable water tanks, swimming pools, reservoirs and canals
  • Wet area waterproofing before tiling
  • Waterproofing retaining walls, basements and foundations
  • Waterproofing over existing ceramic or marble before new tiles
